Concept: Place lots around the clearing to encourage community interactions in the open space.
Pros: Potential for nice use of the clearing. Some houses also have a view of the field.
Cons: Much of the clearing is allocated to private property (could be fenced off).
Considerations: If the community concept is appealing, would you want to require that buildings circle the edge of the clearing or relate to each other somehow?
