New Year's Wishes
December 2015
It's been a busy year for the Caspar Community. Much has been accomplished and much more needs to be done. The Center's utilization is at an all time high. Many thanks to our tireless volunteers.
Your year end contribution is a very important part of our budget. Your gift helps fund the many valuable programs that make living here on the coast so special. It also pays for maintenance and improvements to our wonderful Caspar Community Center. Our current financial needs are:
- More chairs for the Center. As our programs become more popular we often run short of seating.
- We are in process of activating the original schoolhouse well. This project will increase our on site water storage and provide a back-up source of potable water. The well water will be used for the community garden and provide fire hose protection for the Center.
- Our outdoor pizza oven has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. We would like to construct a more permanent outdoor cooking facility with a wood fired oven and BBQ pit.
- We wish to provide a safe haven for the community in case of earthquake, fire or tsunami. The Center is already energy independent for such emergencies and we would like to add cots, blankets, and reserve food supplies.
During this holiday season of giving please consider a generous donation to the Caspar Community. We exist without any government tax funding, solely on contributions from the greater Caspar community. Your donation is tax deductible.
