GRI: Public Workshop

After the “4th of July” holiday fireworks, barbecues, and parades are over, but before we resume our normal daily lives, it seems fitting to consider WHY we celebrate the struggle in 1776 of democracy vs authoritarianism. Because that struggle continues to manifest itself every day in some fashion in our lives and will continue to do so in our future. Therefore, it is vital we renew our commitment to that struggle as we move forward as a community and as a nation. As one way to renew our energy and commitment to strengthening democracy, GRI will hold a public workshop on Sunday, July 7th from Noon until 6 pm at the Caspar Community Center to focus on Democracy and Authoritarianism. Info: www.grassroots-institute.org.
