In 1966, the old curved highway bridge across the millpond on Caspar Creek was retired. Harry Wakerley, then caretaker of the Caspar Lumber Company land, took these pictures, the first dated 1966, the second, October 1966.
     Caspar needs to fill a 55 year gap in its history between 1940 and 1995. If you have photographs, please share them with us! At the Annual Meeting, 10 September 2000, we will be scanning old photographs and telling stories. Please come.
