Caspar Consensus on Coastal Plan
A steering committee meeting on June 5th, 1998 designated a subcommittee to formulate a statement of Caspar's planning goals. It is an important document, as it represents the consensus of the community, as originally declared in the above document, to preserve the quality of life in Caspar with regards to planning development.
It was agreed (in remarkably broad consensus) that the values above, as clarified in this document, refined over a period of four years and presented to unanimous consensus at a community meeting, representing the insistence of the Caspar community, that these qualities must be incorporated in any future Menedocino County planning documents.
